Congress Awards

ICPhS 2019 Student Awards
ICPhS 2019 will be giving out awards for the best papers by students. These awards are supported by the contributing Australian and New Zealand universities.

To be eligible for the awards, the student must submit the full paper and be the first author of that paper. The student will then need to register and present the paper at the Congress.

Student authors will need to supply proof of student status on registration. A student is defined as a delegate who has not yet had their PhD degree conferred by 4 December 2018.

ICPhS 2019 Early Career Researcher Awards

ICPhS 2019 will be giving awards for the best papers by early career researchers (ECR). These awards are supported by the contributing Australian and New Zealand universities.

To be eligible for the awards, the ECR must submit the full paper and be the first author of that paper. The ECR will then need to register and must present the paper at the Congress.

ECRs will be shortlisted based on their full paper. Final decisions will be made based on the paper and the presentation at the Congress.

ECRs are defined as delegates who are within 5 years full-time-equivalent of the conferment of their PhD degree as at 4 December 2018.

Authors of papers shortlisted for an award may be asked to provide proof of ECR status.
