Student Awards and Early Career Researchers Awards
ICPhS2019 will be giving out awards for the best papers by student as well as early career researchers (ECR). These awards are supported by the contributing Australian and New Zealand universities.
To be eligible for the awards, the student or ECR must be the first author of the paper, register for the Congress and present the paper at the Congress.
Students and ECRs will be shortlisted based on their full paper. Final decisions will be made based on the paper and the presentation at the Congress.
Student authors will need to supply proof of student status on registration. They are defined as a delegate who has not yet had their PhD degree conferred by 4 December 2018.
ECR authors of papers shortlisted for an award may be asked to provide proof of ECR status. ECRs are defined as delegates who are within 5 years full-time-equivalent of the conferment of their PhD degree as at 4 December 2018.
